There are = มี (ใช้กับคำนามพหูพจน์)

โครงสร้าง

  • There is + a/an + คำนามเอกพจน์
    • There is a book on the table.
    • There is an apple in the bag.
  • There are + คำนามพหูพจน์
    • There are two books on the table.
    • There are many students in the classroom.

ประโยคปฏิเสธ

  • There is not (isn’t) a computer in the room.
  • There are not (aren’t) any students here.

ประโยคคำถาม

  • Is there a library in your school?
    • Yes, there is. / No, there isn’t.
  • Are there any pens on the desk?
    • Yes, there are. / No, there aren’t.
